Ungwan Gimbia, a settlement behind Sabon-Tasha (Kaduna South) in Kaduna metropolis is under attack from kidnappers right now.
Reports reaching us now says, unspecified number of persons has just been kidnapped some minutes ago.
It could be recalled that, last month 20 people were kidnapped and 2 killed in the process.
From all indications, the kidnappings has a signature of insiders based on the discussion the kidnapped victims overheard.
The intriguing thing is that, after the first kidnappings, no police officer visited the scene to carry out any investigation. And now, it's repeating all over again.
Nigerians are left at the mercy of whoever holds a gun.
Our hearts are with the kidnapped persons and their families.

The Governor actually gave a tacit support to bloodthirsty herdsmen when he said "any harm done to them is a debt that must be repaid", he even went as fat as paying them a certain sum of money.

That would ordinarily seem a good move, but he knows his kinsmen, that such gesture and tacit support is actually an invitation to do more so as to be paid.
