The essence of Biblical Doctrine is to preserve the church without wrinkles or spot. This is done through exposure to spiritual issues. (1 Timothy 6:1-4).

Sharing our knowledge about what are the biblical doctrine will help many of us Christians to know if they are still holding on to the faith and also help in sharpening our discerning spirit,

DEFINITION AND TYPES OF DOCTRINES (Greek word “didache” or “didaskala”)

Taking from its Greek origin, the word Doctrine basically means: Teaching or Instruction – Matt. 7:28-29.
Therefore, we can define doctrine as rules or principles that form the basis of beliefs and policies or a body of ideas taught as truthful.

Since doctrines in this context  deals with all the teachings of the bible. We shall attempt to see doctrine according to 2 Peter 1:3. Bible doctrines are biblical instructions formulated or deduced by qualified leaders of the church under the influence of Holy Spirit (1 Tim. 5:17, 2 Tim. 3:16).
