I turned 34 last week and here are 34 financial mistakes to avoid:

1️⃣ Not having a monthly budget
2️⃣ Not making money while you sleep. (passive investments)
3️⃣ Not negotiating a salary when starting a job
4️⃣ Lending money to friends when you can't afford it
5️⃣ Not having an emergency fund
6️⃣ Having unrealistic financial goals
7️⃣ Forgetting to cancel subscriptions you don't use
8️⃣ Paying more tax than you should without realising
9️⃣ Not taking out insurance
1️⃣0️⃣ Not outsourcing labour that you can sell your time for and earn more
1️⃣1️⃣ Paying off the wrong debt first
1️⃣2️⃣ Unnecessary spending
1️⃣3️⃣ Living from hand-to-mouth because of poor money management
1️⃣4️⃣ Spending too much on your house
1️⃣5️⃣ Renting a space that's way larger than you require
