The Action Congress Nigeria member of the Anambra State House of Assembly representing Onitsha South II, Dr. Emeka Aniebonam, has promised to extend his campaign against rats and mosquitoes to the rest of Anambra State.

Aniebonam, who was among the 25 members of the 30-member assembly that were inaugurated on June 13, had carried out a comprehensive campaign against the invasion of his constituency by rats and mosquitoes.

Apart from fumigating the Fegge area of Onitsha, the legislator spent resources and time distributing mosquito nets to inhabitants in the area. The area with its serious sanitation poor drainage system is a haven for rats, mosquitoes and cockroaches.
