Lifeless body of a 29-year-old young girl was found in her boyfriend’s house on the 24th December 2021.

It was gathered that the incident happened in Iguadolor Community in Ovia North East local government area of Edo State.

It was gathered that the suspect identified as Osas invited the deceased to his house and ask her to buy drugs for him while coming that he was not fine.

Reports says the father of the deceased waited for his daughter till night but did not see her. He decided to check at Osas’s house.

On reaching there, he went to Osas’s apartment with the landlord, they saw that his door was not locked but there was nobody there.

They got the shock of their lives when they opened the door and saw the lady identified simply as Elohor in a pool of her blood.

Osas disappeared without trace with his phones switched off. The father reported the case to the police.

When police men arrived at the scene to carry the dead body, they discovered a cutlass stained with blood under the mattress.

The police further learnt that there was a deep matchet cut on the the deceased neck and hand.

The father of the deceased identified as Mr William Oniovosa said Osas came to his house and gave him a bottle of wine and N1000 for Christmas on 23/12/21.

However, body of the deceased was retrieved and deposited at Stella Obasanjo hospital mortuary.

Edo Police Command spokesman, SP Kontongs Bello, however confirmed the incident.
