I’ve seen this since.

But APC especially... if APC ever decides to zone their ticket to southeast, it can’t escape either Umahi or Onu.

And in PDP, Anyim might get the ticket over Obi because of some negative sentiments for Obi in the north.

We might be in for a shocker in 2023.

The politicians you mention know they can not win the ticket of a major party. They only seek relevance and maybe ministerial appointments.

Any political party that fields an Igbo man or woman is doomed.

In 1999, PDP gave its ticket to a Yoruba man that wasn’t popular in Yoruba land nor was the party.

PDP lost in Yoruba land but won everywhere else to win the presidency.

APC still has the right sentiments in the north. If it can convince Tinubu to allow an Igbo man get the APC ticket which will guarantee Tinubu and Yoruba support, then Igbo votes would be secondary.

But do not forget that no matter the negative sentiments that the Igbos have for APC, many Igbos would have a rethink when an Igbo is the party’s flag bearer. That’s a given.

Take this to the bank;

APC will never give its ticket to the south east. Why are you people so ignorant of facts? APC knows that giving its ticket to the south east is a disaster because it means they have given the presidency to PDP on a platter. This is because of the obvious HATRED of APC in the south east. Politics is not played on emotions, it is a game of numbers so, you take your ticket to s place where you have the best chances of winning an election.

Tinubu should drop his ambition and support an Igbo man for the presidency, abi? The Tinubu that your compatriots wish dead. Tinubu that is much vilified and demonized on social media by your kinsmen. Let me tell you, AS THINGS STAND, THE DAY TINUBU DROPS HIS AMBITION FOR AN IGBO MAN, HE BECOMES IRRELEVANT IN THE SOUTH WEST. Thank Nnamdi Kanu for his achievement.

As for PDP, I'm waiting for the day of primary elections to see how a southerner would clinch that ticket when the likes of Wike are working for northern candidates so that they can be vice president.

The Igbo should forget 2023 presidency, abeg.

is it a crime to show interest in Nigeria presidency?
Where was it written that it's igbos turn?
Is Nigeria turn by turn enterprises?
U made mention of 1999,ekweme contested against obj n he was defeated then same way olu falae thrashed ogbonnaya onu contested against olu falae so what do u mean by pdp gave it to Yoruba

2 people fought in a boxing ring for a crown n one emerged winner n d defeated one is saying he gave it to him

Does that make any sense to u?
So how come you contradictory afonjas are saying power must return to the South ? Why do you insist the north must not contest? After all according to you it should be a free for all contest, I know you're scratching your head now at how dumb your statement is....
Ain't no way the Yorubas would gain in 2023
Its either they support the Igbo's for fairness n justice to reign or the North continues to hold sway....

you talk out of point and display the same hatred you leveled against the igbos. First there's no Igbo party or yuruba party in Nigeria one you start nursing such you will only remain in your region until you believe in other region. If acn who had the west did not realised that acn can not just be a Yoruba party and team up with the north apc won't have emerge. Because majority of igbos are against apc cause of the way they operate or did not support Apc as a party doesn't not mean everyone hate apc. Even some Yoruba hate apc cause i reside in Lagos... Make it look like all region including the south south love or like apc... Joining a party is a choice the more you gain more member the more your chances of wining. If apc decided not to welcome any Igbo man who want to join them then losing will be their name. Politics is a matter of interest

u mean tinubu will forfeit his presidential ambition for people who hate him?

Do u igbos like tinubu?
So u mean APC will make tinubu n Yoruba support igbo?Impossibility, tinubu n yorubas will prefer to withdraw from APC than to give d ticket to igbos who hates us with passion.

I will prefer to vote for idi amin dada of Uganda than an igbo man
May God help you. Amen.

If PDP decides to choose from South East, then it's Peter Obi(that is if he is contesting). Peter Obi has people in the north. The perception you're talking about is on SM. Did you know how he became VP candidate? The leaders of the north are with him.
Also, internationally, he has contacts more than most of these popular politicians. And it the world powers are to decide for Nigeria of SE, then he gets the nod.
