If they used your atm card you can speak to your bank about it almost all atm have cctv cameras as well as it takes your pictures when you insert cards and pin, it can be used to identify and trace

Go to force headquarters, since you are still in Abuja, ask for IG monitoring units, they will take it up, please go with your lawyer to have easier access, plus since its bolt? You can still get the driver's contact through bolt, apart from that you said they stopped at a filling station to withdraw money from atm, atm cannot pay more than 150k definitely the atm machine has record or capture the face of the person that withdrew from your account, you can get the pictures from your bank, that's simple, was the money transferred? That can be traced although am sure it will be into a phony 3rd party account, your main lead will be the picture of the person who withdrew from that atm... All the best.

This story doesn't add up. Is it possible to withdraw over 500k from an ATM card in Nigeria? I always believed the max is 100k. Also why would you allow them whisk you away without creating a scene. It's possible this event took place, but something must have exposed you as a potential target
i tire ooo.. Its not possible to withdraw over 150k cash from atm.. Unless it was a transfer to another account.. That's over a million.

Our policemen with guns in a harsh economy like ours will definitely turn into kidnappers and armed robbers....

Our problem as a country is nothing but bad leadership

Our leadership here in Nigeria is the direct opposite of our counterpart in the North Korea government

Sorry o OP.

All this things wouldn't have happened if you had a Car.

I drove from Abuja to Lag yesterday with my full Yoruba regalia, any checkpoints, Ndlea, SARS, Lastma etc just dey salut me ni.

I don't like rubbish at all, if I were you I'd get physical with the bad men and it may end in tears for somebody that's definitely not me.

Meanwhile, who go buy my car now now?!

It's a Honda Accord DC and its cheap.

I still don't know why the African man loves to oppress others with the little power/authority he has.
This is actually the normal behaviour of hungry men with weapons. It happens less in the West because they have built systems to prevent it.

stupid lamentations. Thank God they did not kill you, so what stops you from heading straight to force headquarters to lodge a complaint, even with the plate number you have, an investigation can be launched discreetly. You are lamenting on SM. Reason why it continues to happen.

My brother if your story is true, then go straight to the force CID and report. According to your narration they did not use their own POS machine, but a vendor to do the withdrawal. The POS agent can be invited for questioning and retrieval of the account where the money was sent and also the plate number you got down can be useful as well.

Is only a police officer that can rob and kidnap people easily. This is the kind of society we find ourselves.

Don't worry bro, karma always caught up with them towards their retirement.

Walk into any police Barracks and ask, most of them die of strokes and many other sickness within their few years to retirement and the sickness always ruined them for at least 5 years and more before death.

Karma doesn't forgive

All corrupt police officers will never end well or die well including their generation by the special Grace of Almighty God.. Amen

Very Sad experienced. But we should not conclude that everyone in uniform is policeman, many criminals used either police or army uniform to commit all sorts of crime.

Nigerian police are the worse police in the world. There alot of thieves in the service.
I tell you a story: Kaduna State government the use of motorcycle in the state. Immediately police heard that, they started arresting motorcyclists. What some of them were doing was to steal people's bikes. They will seize a bike, then tell the bikeman to go to so so police station to bail the bike whereas they don't take these bikes to the station instead, they take these bikes to their houses.
