2023 Elections: Inec’s Plan To Transmit Results Electronically Doubtful by Health16: 9:20am On Dec 29, 2021
Uncertainty surrounds the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) plan to transmit results electronically in the 2023 elections, as the Federal Government revealed that only 473 out of 774 local government areas in the country have Internet access.

By implication, this means that 301 local government areas have no access to the internet. And as a result, transmitting results in those areas may not be possible in the 2023 elections even if the Electoral Act is amended.
