That na one... the most disappointing is Emmanuel Dennis.. why would Walford (that will still be relegated) hold him not to come? When the likes of Mo Salah, Marehez, Mane and Zaha are going...

So sad for Leon Balogun despite his sterling performance for his club ......I was hoping to see him in action once more b4 his retirement for international outings .

From my own point of view, his management is the problem. They don’t want him to participate in the competition, hence the covid infection

Call it whatever you like. If a foreign country club which pays their players can fight to retain their players during AFCON so to avoid relegation, it will do it.

Escaping relegation is as important as AFCON to you also.

If You own a club and a player is important to your league survival, would you release such player to AFCON, even if you have the chance to hold the player down and play for the club?

Napoli doesn't want him to go, they've pulled alot of stunt to keep him back, They said they invested a lot of money in signing him, and they can't afford to lose him as they believe AFCON doesn't have good medical coverage for players and also the corona virus, so this is the least they could do to keep their superstar striker.
