sad May God grant us the grace to see next year.

In the remaining hours, something might happen.

We shall not be victim of any deadly occurence in the mighty name of Jesus.

Someone in my area was pronounced dead not long ago. She had been in coma for the past few days before she gave up the ghost.

So sad!

What is usually so special about a new year when it doesn't change anything?

Nothing celestially change

Nothing in our normal struggle life change(except You are lucky enough to meet someone...)

Worse is, our government doesn't have any plan on how to make life better for her citizens

The looting in our government will not stop with the old year.

What is so special about a new year when it only draw you towards your end.

New year only decrease your years of living and only add anxiety to your coming days.

All we got in this life is living to Die

LOL. Although I'm a Christian who believe in God but the fact that some part of the world are already in new year does not, by itself, necessary prove the existence of God unless you don't understand the science behind it.

Let me explain some elementary science behind it:

Since the earth is not flat but spherical (and it is not even a perfect sphere) it is impossible for the light of the sun to reach every part of the earth at once (there would be permanent day without night if that were possible).

So the part of the earth facing the sun would be in daytime while the other will be in darkness (nighttime).

Now since the earth is rotating (turning on its axis) the part of the facing the sun gradually turns away from the sun thereby gradually experiencing NIGHT while the part that was in night gradually turns towards the sun thereby experiencing DAY.

This explains why some part of the earth like NZ are already in new year (meaning they are in MIDNIGHT at the moment) while some other part of the earth (like Nigeria) are still in the AFTERNOON of the previous year!

That means most Chinese and most Russians are fools. Funny how we wise people depend on fools to make life comfortable for us. For example it is the fools in China who have made it possible for we wise ones in Nigeria to be able to use computers, android phones, to be able to ride a train from Abuja to Kaduna.
