Is it not the people who make their own way of worshiping God to be powerful through their diligent efforts to develop military and other productive capacity

True but if you are conversant with many local traditions and deities, you will know that many ancients went to "adopt" a deity for some special reason of which protection is Paramount.

I'm saying this because so it was in the Olden days in my Clan. I've heard stories and read history. The whole community went to "adopt" a deity for protection, fertility, agricultural prowess, etc. Las las Oyibo still conquer them.

If you understand religion and spirituality well enough, you will see that people project their spirits unto the gods that they worship hence the power of the gods is not different from the efforts of the people aggregated.

Ooh now I see. Guess their power waned when people left them. Thanks for the enlightenment.

Hearken to your roots. If the old ways kept your community healthy and prosperous, stick with them. Don't let anybody teach you how their own deity is the real one, all in the name of "civilization"

Waiting for the intolerant practitioners of foreign religions to arrive and tell us how these people are "worshipping the devil".
. Fanta, Sprite Coca-Cola and wine isn't part of the roots na. They're part of the things the brainwashed got from the brainwashers. Why are they part of the things people of the roots are giving to the god's of the roots? Meaning that even the so-called gods are brainwashed too into eating the brainwashers food, while abandoning his palmwine. Confusion everywhere.

Explain please ...

Everything you see around you was made to help you.

Understand the seas and you'll create submarines, sustainably feed your country with seafood and resuscitate dry land

Understand the skies and you can build planes, launch satellites to monitor crops, insurgents, mega constructions and telecommunications

Understand land and you can feed your country, build sustainably and overcome adverse climate

But once you turn away from worshipping God and start worshipping what he gave you to assist you, you become incapacitated. And a servant to those elements

Issorait!

And counts time after the Christian's Jesus.
Which end of year are they celebrating? Which deity gave them such a way of calculating time? Couldn't the deity choose another time to begin its rival beginning or end of year?

Marine spirit worship...

Until you see where it deals with people, you won't believe it's real.

Dedicate your lives and lineage to the worship of the only true God,they won't hear!

The only problem is that oil pollution has chased their god out of location. I wonder now whether the worship is for oil or the water goddess.

Colossians 1:16-17 "For by him [Jesus
Christ] were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."
