Hello everyone. I work in a private school where my monthly salary is 100,000. Earlier this year, I applied for Lagos state teaching job online in which they later called us in November this year for interview and I got the job. When I received my employment letter, I saw that my basic salary for grade level 8 step 1 is 67,000. Have been thinking of this salary issue since 2nd week of November that I received my offer. Should I resign my private teaching job of 100,000 and take Lagos state teaching job grade 8 of 67,000 naira. |

Take a cue,learn from the hardship private school teachers went thru during covid 19 last year,resign and go for the govt offer asap 1 Like |

Listen to the advice of the people above. Private employers are not predictable and their jobs are not reliable, a lot of private schools are even worse. There are better chances of career advancement in government job with all the benefits. Never relent to take that offer, millions are praying to have that opportunity. |
