Luke 2:19 Our Christmas Octave would not be complete without paying special attention to the glorious Mother of God! Mary, the mother of Jesus, the mother of the Saviour of the World, is properly called the “Mother of God.” It is worth reflecting upon this powerful title of our Blessed Mother. And it’s important to understand that this title says just as much about Jesus as it does about His Blessed Mother. In calling Mary the “Mother of God,” we especially acknowledge one fact of human life. A mother is not just the source of one’s flesh, she is not just the mother of the body of her children, she is the mother of that person. Being a mother is not just something biological, it is something sacred and holy and is part of the divine order of God’s creation. Jesus was her Child and this Child is God. Therefore, it is proper logic to call Mary the “Mother of God.” It’s an amazing fact to think about. God has a mother! He has a particular person who carried Him in her womb, nursed Him, raised Him, taught Him, loved Him, was there for Him, and pondered who He was throughout His life. This last fact is especially beautiful to look at. The Gospel passage above says, “And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart.” And she did this as a caring mother. Her love for Jesus was as unique as the love of any mother. However, it should be noted that she was a mother in perfection and loved Him with a perfect love, He who was not only her Son, but was also God and was perfect in every way. What does this reveal? It reveals that the motherly love shared between Mary and Jesus was profound, inspiring, mysterious, glorious and truly sacred! The mystery of their love is worth reflecting on throughout our lives, keeping it fully alive in our hearts. She is an example for every mother and is also an example for all of us who seek to love others with a pure and holy heart. Reflect, today, upon the holy and captivating relationship that Mary would have shared with her Divine Son. Try to fathom what this love would have been like. Imagine the deep emotion and passion that would have filled her heart. Imagine the level of unwavering commitment she would have had. Imagine the unbreakable bond that was forged as a result of her love. What a beautiful celebration this is to conclude this Octave of Christmas Day! Dearest Mother Mary, you loved your Divine Son with a perfect love. Your heart burned with an unquenchable fire of motherly charity. Your bond with Jesus was one that was perfect in every way. Help me to open my heart to that same love you share with me. Come be my mother and care for me as you cared for your Son. May I also love you with the love Jesus had for you and with the love He now lavishes upon you in Heaven. Mother Mary, the Mother of God, pray for us. Jesus, I trust in You. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nv7KWsDnrqs |

There is no need for a messiah to bring salvation because God provides that and says he is our salvation and redeemer on numerous occasions. All those occasions would have been a great time to mention a messiah, but he never did. In almost every conceivable way, and at nearly every opportunity, God explicitly states in the Tanakah that he alone is salvation, he alone is God who does not share his glory, there is none other but him, and that there is none formed before him, and none formed after him. The claim that Jesus is the “Word made flesh,” found in John 1:14, flies in the face of Deuteronomy 30:11-14 and Isaiah 43:10. Became flesh equals formed, and God says there was none formed after him. The “word” that John 1 refers to is the law, but the Hebrew word for the law (Torah) is feminine, which led me to ponder for a moment: A feminine word became a man? For those who say Jesus is God, there is another key point that must be made. The book of Hebrews speaks to Jesus being “fully” human, and several scriptures throughout the Bible say that “God is not a man.” If there is any lingering doubt, God swears to heaven and says, “I live forever.” He says he is the living God and the everlasting God. A living and everlasting God does not die. |

MyCatholicLife:Mary was a sinner until the sacrifice of Jesus because "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of the LORD" (Romans 3:23). The only sinless human at that time was Jesus (Hebrews 4:15). This means without the saving power of Jesus, Mary was as much a sinner as anyone else. You claimed Mary was not just the mother of the body of Jesus but also his personality. That is a blatant lie. Jesus had to be sinless, like Adam before he fell, to be propitiation for the sins of mankind. If Jesus had the same nature as Adam He would be disqualified from being the perfect sacrifice for the sins of humanity. Now if Mary contributed to the body and personality of Jesus then it means Jesus had the same nature as Adam because the nature of Adam passed down to all humanity through the process of procreation. The only way Jesus was to be born sinless was for Mary's womb to be used an incubator only. Yes, all Mary was was an incubator and nothing more. Jesus is regarded as the second Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45-47) suggesting that Jesus in the flesh was formed, just like Adam, and not born through procreation. This is the only way Jesus could be sinless yet in the flesh, not inherit the nature of fallen Adam and be the perfect sacrifice for the sins of mankind. You need to quit this idolatry of yours. Mary cannot help you. The only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ. Jesus and Jesus alone is the way to eternal life. Quit this idolatrous dogma and get to know Jesus who funnily enough is still available in the FLESH. Mary is dead. Moses is dead. Paul is dead. Peter is dead. Most of the popes are all dead. The saints are dead...but Jesus is still very much alive in the FLESH. Jesus can walk into your apartment right now and eat dinner with you (John 21:12). Jesus can show up in your room right now and take you on a date. What relationship has the living with the dead? Why are you mesmerized by a dead woman, Mary, when you have a living savior, Jesus Christ, to chat with all your life. Get to know Jesus Christ and perhaps He can teach you Himself about your beliefs. |

Catholics and their heresies! God get mother! God get father! God get son! God get adoptive father! Sons of God can even impregnate daughters of men! Hmmm, sexual reproduction! |
