This just happened this morning in church. Service was going really well, everybody dancing and rejoicing because it's Thanksgiving Sunday and first Sunday of the year and then time came for offering and usually it's one of the pastors that make announcements on how the offering will go. Lo and behold the lead pastor picked the microphone and said "don't put less than 1000naira note in that offering envelope". "It's not easy to see a new year" I've been wondering, why such an announcement? What about someone who doesn't have that much? Nawaoh.. 1 Like |
