Tofa reportedly died at age 74 following a brief illness. Alhaji Bashir Tofa, who contested the 1993 presidential election alongside Chief MKO Abiola, has passed on. He was 74 years of age. Various reports say he died after a brief illness at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) in the early hours of Monday, January 3, 2022. https://rotf.lol/2p9x43x8
