You are given an opportunity to play at the nation's cup only when you host . Let's be honest, the reason South Africa feels they are good at football is because you play the tournament which you are a host in.

The real South African football to me was 1996,1998 and 2000 era. The likes of mark fish, Quinton Fortune, Benni McCarthy,Siyabonga Nomvethe etc... these were real players who fought hard to qualify.

Why can't you guys just hire pitso motsimane or even benni McCarthy to bring out the best out of the local players, I watch the PSL sometimes and with your players there, I don't see why you guys shouldn't at least have been at this AFCON, At least at the last edition you people were in the quarters
