The major issues about this strike is basically salary....and one of the side effects of low salaries....the nurses that are flying the coop and heading abroad.

(Reason why is that many developed countries don't have enough nurses...so time to bring in nurses from the developing world. Bad really)

The thing is stopping the brain drain means

1.More money for salaries

2.Better conditions of service (because you cannot pay a nurse one million naira a month, and s/he comes in and has zero facilities to work)

All this boils down to one issue...Nigeria is not making enough money, and needs to make more money. Our over-reliance on oil, price of which is going down, and our low tax intake is destroying us. Yes, Bubuhari has failed to address both issues.

But we don't want to solve these issues, APC and PDP want to chop money, as do their supporters.
