The cause of the holdup is not even at the Obajana-kabba road, but Kabba-junction axis due to a broken down tanker.

Dualization of the road is ongoing, so once a vehicle broke down on that road, traffic start to build up, and dont forget the
Volume of vehicles plying the Obajana kabba road has Increased due to the bad state of alternative routes, almost all Lagos, Abuja bound vehicles now take that route......

I passed there today, it's clear, no more traffic holdup..

It was a diesel tanker that fell and spilled it's content along lokoja-abuja road. It was close to the bridge. I got there 6am and left 5pm. It wasn't dangote trucks because some of them complained of being there since on Saturday. Some as early as 9pm while some 10, 11 pm respectively.

I spent over 3 hours held in truck-induced hold up on that on Saturday evening. Just imagine hold all the way from Obajana township to Obajana Junction in Abuja-Okene Express way

I've been to Lokoja and back to Obajana today without any hitch.
I'm not denying there ain't traffic on that axis, it happens only on Fridays-Sundays and it's caused by influx of travellers and not Trucks.
