This your argument is not compelling. In Lagos, some of the best representatives are non-indigenes. One of the best governor of Kano state - shekarau - was not an indigene. Come to think of it: are ikpeazu, ortom, Yahya Bello not indigenes of their respective states? How far have they fared?

The bolded is not necessarily true. Senator Bala Muhammed is only saying a nonsense that will benefit him. Almost 100% of elected governors in Nigerian history are indigenes, how has that enabled development? A wicked person is a wicked person.
