I remember something former PDP Chieftain in the South West, Bode Johnson, said a while ago. That if former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu, ever declares his intention to become President, him and others would expose certain secrets they know about him, including his real age.


Although Tinubu is 69 years old, it has been said that his real age is closer to 80. APC will no doubt have a screening committee for its aspiring presidential candidates. If what is said about Tinubu being over 80 years is true, you can bet that his political enemies are going to begin gathering evidence to that effect soon.

If successfully proven that Tinubu is not the age he says he is, there's no way the Screening committee won't disqualify him.

That will be the end of APC.

Is it not better to tell us why A Peter Obi Or Anyim or Kalu Uzor Orji is better than Tinubu instead of lying to readers that Tinubu will be disqualified? When Tinubu submitted his Form CF001 INEC form in Dec 20th 1998, the date of birth he wrote was 1952 and he presented that document to the Lagos house of assembly back then when LHOS was hearing the issue.

The only issue arising from his age was the fact that his Chicago State University transcript that he tendered was 1954 as his date of birth and that was all fashioned out during his first term when Gani Fawehinmi challenged him then.

He already filed the affidavit of the error in date of birth then so I don’t know where all this nonsense of his age being 80 like some mentally deranged people are saying. Even in 1993 elections, he filed his age at that time too.

So anyone that thinks he can use age to disqualify Tinubu is just wasting his unprecious time and will be an exercise in futility coz his records are out there with the government.

If Tinubu is 80 years, then he is older than Bode George and same age as Babangida.

Some things dont sit well with Tinubus age. Late Afenifere spokesman, Yinka Odumakin, said in 2019 that Tinubus first wife died at the age of 74, making her almost 10 years older than Tinubu at the time.

He also said that Tinubus own immidaite older sister has a son,the Governor of Osun State, just three years younger than Tinubu. She would have had to have that son at less than 10 years old for that to be possible
