Watching Nigeria's super eagles match, with the pharaoh's of Egypt, this evening,I couldn't stop asking my self,if social media is a curse or a blessing?my reasons is that, looking at the composition of the team & the unity among our players, from Awoniyi to Iheanacho...Ola Aina to Chukwueze & the rest of the team.THERE WAS NO IGBO VS YORUBA ON THE PITCH OF PLAY!why are we then engaging our selves in a tribal war MAINLY ON SOCIAL MEDIA?..is it idleness or poverty? Awoniyi & Iheanacho worked together!..Ola Aina & Chukwueze also worked together on the right flank!..at the end of the match, they all prayed together.WHO ARE THOSE IGBOS & YORUBAS MISCREANTS ON NAIRALAND ACTUALLY WORKING FOR?why can't we tolerate one another?.. WHAT EXACTLY IS THE CAUSE OF THIS TRIBAL WAR ON NAIRALAND?I grew up in the midst of igbos, Yorubas & hausas.NONE OF US WERE PERFECT...ALL OF US HAD OUR ERRORS,yet we moved on! today we are all grown up,still together, doing things together.finally,I blame the forum upon which these AGENTS OF DIVISION always relied on.

Even NL's forgot about tribe, religion or political party during the game.

Our unity is our strength

Well people are sometimes emotionally carried away when it comes to Politics discussion.

Onochie is a good example people could have learned from regarding reckless statement, yet people are not picking a thing from it.

Politics no be fight. That we are not having same opinion about issues shouldn't make us a threat

Mods have actually been trying regarding that. As you can see the guy derailing the thread, na one of those people creating nuisances on this forum.

How can a sane person be cancelling 40+ members comments cos they have different opinions from his.

10,000 monikers used for this nonsense last year alone, substract that from NL statistics. Meanwhile that guy has been doing the madness for over 5 years on this forum daily.

That's for you to know that politics discussion is not good for some people

The politicians always try to use our differences to divide us cos that's the only way they can subjugate the general populace, it's an old tactic called DIVIDE AND RULE, it works by making a particular ethnic group or groups, , a scapegoat, blame everything that goes wrong in the country on them, that way the people will be kept busy fighting each other instead of holding the elite to account. That's why whenever the people unite to fight a common cause, the elite become very afraid. Endsars was a case in point, guess how it later ended, the same politicians started spreading rumours through their paid agents that a set of people from a particular ethnic group, wanted to destroy Lagos,.that way the protest ended up being painted as a protest by a particular section of the country. I guess the tactic worked.

The same way some politicians and their people started spreading rumours through their agents that a set of people from a particular ethnic group wanted to islamize and fulanize Nigeria
