Depends on cases, criminal cases with potential long custodial sentences costs more.

Example: if you kill someone and don't want to go to jail for life or for 50 years you will be prepared to pay lots of money to hire the best lawyers, you can have 2 to 3 or more lawyers in one case if you can afford them. SOME cases are worth up to £500 to £1 million, SOME are worth less than £50k

Divorce cases between wealthy couples can cost up to £300k more depending on how much properties and wealth are involved.

Drunk and drive cases for celebrities are like £10k to £50k.

Compensations for accidents are NO WIN NO FEE sometimes but the lawyers takes a percentage of the winnings if they win plus all consultations fees. So if a compensation is £100k lawyers can take up to £40k. And you will take £60k

cheers! Sometimes trouble follows or finds you anyway, regardless of how hard one tried to stay outta troubles.

If you are wealthy it wouldn't be a problem, sometimes poor people can become rich from troubles they went looking for or troubles that found them. I know of a young college girl who won a pay out of i THINK £5 million, she lost one of her legs in a roller coaster accident, Some rich people go looking for troubles while some stay out of trouble co's they don't wanna end up paying compensations to poor people or even rich people like them.

One guy in America won a pay out of $30 million after been jailed for 30 years for a murder he didn't commit, he is innocent. He was 17 years old when he was jailed but ended up with $30 million at 47 years old. (Good for him some would say) But he isn't happy he said he lost most of his life while in penitentiary.. even though he is a millionaire now.
