The spirit of lust has been a great wrecker, destroyer ,and a great demoter of man from strong spiritual heights into lowly Demonic captivities through Demonic modes of operation such as obsession, depression, suppression, regression, digression and Possession.
What is LUST itself?
It is a STRONG DESIRE FOR SOMETHING OR FOR SOMEONE.
when we talk of lust , it doesnt only mean strong sexual desire towards an opposite sex.
It can also mean a strong desire for something.
This strong desire pushes men into something evil.it means craving, wanting to have what is not ones own .
It means also to covet, though it may not only mean to covet all, but it may mean to covet something or to have a taste, a feeling of something with a strong desire betraying all emotions towards such a thing or person until the desire is satisfied at that moment.
In all wise , LUST is a spirit that posseses its host and manifests.
We see particularly that there are two types of lusts which are Lust of the flesh(towards someone) and lust of the eyes( towards physical, material, or vain things or possessions one can lay hands on) in the world.
Lust has been in operation of peoples actions, reactions and in actions, administration of peoples actions, reactions and inactions and lastly manifestations of peoples actions, reactions and inactions.
It may be in an indviduals life, or among a family or group of people.
There is no lust that ends well!.
As we proceed, let us see where, how, what , when and why lusts operate in flesh!
LUST OF THE FLESH
The spirit of lust has made man so insatiable in his desires towards others or for things

Numbers 11:4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
The mixt multitude were not the Isrealites but were those who joined themselves to them and followed them into the wilderness.
Back in the land of bondage, the children of Isreal liked a special salad, a mixture of onions, cucumber and garlic in their food prepared by the Egyptians.
It happened that they now remembered and began to lust for this food freely given back in egypt than for the MannaGod provided for them freely also.
They preferred the special luxuries and delicacies of the idolatrous Egyptians.
Numbers 11:5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:
11:6 But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.
The mixt multitude with the spirit of lust implicated the children of Isreal to again crave for that luxurious food which is defiled by idol spirits and never made them satisfied with Gods manna he gave them
So also it is in our time, are you someone given or addicted to a kind of favorite food that when you are given ordinary food you are not satisfied but crave the favorite food.
Many men have been destroyed because of refusing Gods provisions and being addicted to their own Lusts.
In otherwords , Food has been one of satans tools to destroy mankind.
However, we see that the lust for a particular charmed food made them reject Gods manna .
What was the result of eating such dainties or remembering such Free Food of bondage
It brought leaness to their soul!
There are some food sacrificed to idols that defile people spiritually.once you eat such foods , your spiritual strenght is drained, you cant carry out spiritual exercise, you cant eat o drink spiritually again.
Such food makes you spiritually weak , but physically , your flesh is strong and awakened to temptations.
Daniel 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Such foods are like the kings food, the are so explicit and pleasant to the eye but are filled with spiritual poison.
Daniel didnt eat such food.

Psalms 106:15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

It was a defiled food they remembered they had eaten long back in Egypt
When the Lord hearkened to their cries and did give them flesh, they behaved cannibalistic to an extent they were eating live quails with the Blood.
This led to their destruction.
Numbers 11:31 And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
11:32 And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
11:33 And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague.
11:34 And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.
11:35 And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.
Lust therefore made this people loose their lives at their own detriment.
The flesh they desired strongly to eat, became. their own Nemesis.
They already had pictured it in their imaginations and mind and heart, when it came, they couldn't wait patiently to kill the quails and cook and fry or eat them.
Instead, the spirit of lust made them cannibalistic in nature to those quails.
What can be so detrimental after one satisfies their lust but becomes spiritually destroyed than Lusts itself
Can we see that anything we desire and have at the expense of sinning would bring spiritual loss to our soul.
Psalms 78:18 And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust.
They asked something from God but it was for their own lusts!!!
Have you come across christians praying to satisfy their lusts.
Such prayers tempt God to his face!!!
Just as the children of Isreal tempted Gods ability to provide meat in the wilderness .
It was a horrible request that doubted Gods power.
There is bound to also be spiritual bondages when one eats food served by the hands of a person possesed with the spirit of Lust!!!
Without discerning of the spirit , one would never know that the actions of such a person is borne out of lust and not love!!!!
Psalms 78:18 And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust.
78:19 Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? 78:20 Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?
78:21 Therefore the LORD heard this, and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;

78:22 Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:
The spirit of lust can make a man tempt Gods ability to provide for man.
It can make a man doubt Gods power to provide.
Have you seen women praying with the spirit of Lust for something God never gives them or is willing to give them?
Such women would b commanding God as if he is their mate!
The spirit of lusts pushes men to seek Worldly things than heavenly things.
It pushes man to feel and think that God is likr a man that must satisfy them if truly he is GOD jehovah jireh.
The voice of satan resonates through the spirit of lust making Gods people reject his own provisions and to now seek means of getting provisions through their own means to satisfy their lusts!!!!
James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Once anyone had a strong desire or is enticed or is lured to crave for something by the spirit of lust, we see how such actions develop into reactions which are ungodly and then inactions which would result in spiritual death!!!
Those who have the spirit of lust can never submit to God when their lust is burning for someone or something .
Since that dispensation was under the law, the lord gave them up to their lusts.
However, under the dispensation of faith, God would not give something to his beloved if they ask it in lust or for their lusts .
God would not give you something to destroy you, or destroy your relationship with him
This is why many believers get tired and cant wait long on asking for Gods will to be done regarding decisions on and for their Education, Professions, Marriage.
They run out of patience and walk into their own lust when they have been waiting for God to answer their prayers and he doesnt .
James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
So these group of impatient Christians are prone to take the easy way out immediately they are enticed and when the spirit of lust activates its operation in their lives.
Such christians satisfy their worldy lusts when they go astray and begin to give heed to seducing spirits and bewitching spirits.
The spirit of lust would make you reject Gods offer because it is not suiting to your lust.
2 Peter 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
Then they fall into error.
They now fall into error and begin to speak evil of church leaders who preaches against their lusts.
Man is irrational and that is why we see that some people rebel against dignitaries when their way of life is being satisfied by a Lust.
Some don't mind dwelling in such bondages so far it is satisfying their lusts.
2 Peter 2:10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
To walk after lusts means to follow what you desire strongly in deterrence to Gods word, Holiness and commadments.
Such an action can only be done in the flesh or when someone has a lust of the flesh and refuses to obey the spirit.
The lust of the flesh makes someone to become a SELECTIVE HEARER OF THE WORD OF GOD AND A SELECTIVE DOER.
many people laden with lust of the flesh have rejected true ministers who speak the truth for those who speak what they want to hear!!!!
They would always murmur and complain about men of God who condemn their lusts, their ungodly ways and disobedience .
But when they see others who preach For what they are doing in the lust of the flesh, they would be ever WILLING TO HEAR MESSAGES FROM SUCH MINISTERS OR MINISTRIES!!!
When women who are feminists hear a preacher support their satanic lust , they would cheer him on even when feminist is a demonic act.
These christians have spiritual Itching ears to the Truth and have rejected sound doctrine.
These type of people cannot endure discipline and denying the flesh and its lusts!!!!
2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
The spirit of lust makes sure that Christians end in the flesh.
We are to undertand the Hottest battle is the one of the spirit vs the flesh.
Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
The Holyspirit gives you power over the flesh so that you can not do the things your flesh want you to do.
There is a strong battle daily and sometimes the flesh wins when christians submit to it and also the spirit wins when Christians submit to the GODs holyspirit who empowers them to overcome tenptations of the FLESH AND THE LUST OF THE FLESH.
