Babayemi's Supporters Jubilate Over Success Recorded At Party Screening.

A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP governorship aspirant, Omooba Dotun Babayemi and his teeming supporters have expressed their satisfaction and joy on his (Babayemi's) success at the recently-concluded screening exercise organised by the party leadership in Abuja for all the party's gubernatorial aspirants in Osun State.
Information reaching the medium from Babayemi's camp across the State revealed how his supporters went into jubilant mode when the news of his success at the party's screening exercise was relayed to them.
According to eye witnesses at various meetings, when the news of his
clearance via a certificate issued and signed by the PDP National Chairman, Dr. Iyiocha Ayu got to his supporters at their meetings, they reportedly went into wild jubilation saying the first huddle had been cleared for their chosen one to fly the party's flag during the fast-approaching governorship election in the State.
In a telephone interview with Omooba Babayemi, he expressed his satisfaction with the screening committee and stated his resolve to abide by the outcome of the party's gubernatorial primary election coming up next month.
According to him, as an indigene of Osun State, he is eminently qualified to run for public office.
"I am qualified, capable, competent and able in all ramifications to serve as governor of the State and perform much better than the current administration in the State.
Mine is a mission to realign the lot of Osun citizens in-line with the vision of our fathers that fought for the creation of Osun State," he stressed.
He further enumerated his numerous plans if finally elected to govern the State as including tackling the poor standard of education, infrastructural decay, high unemployment level and poverty pervading the state.
"We know the problems and challenges facing our people. We are here to serve and committed to putting genuine smiles on the faces of our people when given the mandate," he added.
