Nigerian man has sparked reactions on Instagram after he claimed to have been scammed by Nigerian award-winning music star, David Adeleke, a.k.a Davido, and his manager, Asa Asika.

In the viral video, the young man said he gave N150, 000 to Davido’s manager, Asa Asika, who then gave him a registration form from the artiste’s record label, and also promised to hand him a record deal.

He claimed that while he was on a video call with Davido’s manager, his number was blocked after he transferred the said amount, billed for the registration form, to him.

I just hate how some people just condemn people for calling out some certain celebrities that duped them, once names like David, wizkid or some other celebrities is called, we're always quick to condemn, just last week a unilag guy called out David for buying dummy from him and promised to pay later and didn't keep to promise, even went on to blocked the guy from calling him, which prompted the guy to come online, all this celebrities also play games, you may say 150k is just a change, they can't stoop so low to collect such amount from him but it's a whole lot for the the guy who raised the money, we all like this guys but let's call a spade a spade

What if the account provided was a third party account?Scammers don't use their real profile to do fraud.

He was scammed using Deepfake - Deepfakes are synthetic media in which a person in an existing image or video is replaced with someone else's likeness - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deepfake.

davido and his people have nothing to offer. He's already signed over 8 but their careers died immediately. You need to be signed by a real label not davido who is also singing and he won't support you fully.
