The #AFCON continues with another mouth-watering contest as Gambia and Mali go toe to toe for top spot in Group F at the Limbe Omnisport Stadium today.
It broke my heart that I wasn't able to watch our boys trash Sudan yesterday lipsrsealed :-

I dont know why Africans are allowing FIFA to use VAR to destroy their competition!
Anytime the call the referee for VAR, it is always a Penalty!

But VAR is suppose to be used for situations where there is CONTROVERSY and one of the Parties is challenging the Referee's decision.
What we have now is a situation where some three People sitting in front of the VAR just force an IRRELEVANT decision on the Centre Referee and this is destroying the beauty of the CAF Competition.

Rubbish, irrelevant Penalty given to Mali.

Edit: And God don catch the "Malians", they handled the ball inside the Penalty box. tongue tongue grin
This is the sort of situations where VAR is expected to feature, contentious situations, not just to be picking penalties from irrelevant incidents.

Na...VAR is actually the referee's third eye...Parties do not need to stirrup controversies before VAR decides or call attention of the referee.
