It's about time. I believe the Minister should be transparent about how much it'll cost and how many they want to buy.
With the inflated prices they got those satellites. The whole country go shout. grin the money fit pass our national budget sef.
And by the way we need a stand alone satellite for the military to be used for reconnaissance and defense purposes. The country needs one so so badly

He didn't state the benefits of the satellite to the common man in Nigeria, you will think he has a plan to make the things easier for people...

It is not everything that must be turned into negative discussion. You can simply ask or Google the benefits of Satellite (education, Agric, Weather monitoring, Security, IT & Telecoms etc.) to common man and you will get answers

Has the one that got missing been found?

I don't think it can be recovered soon... I imagine the CBA is the basis of this judgement

Oga there are different types of satellites for different purposes, he didn't state what this one will do....

..because the context of the report did not require him to do so as he was addressing people who already know what specific satellite he was talking of and the purpose...
Prof. Isa Ali Pantami disclosed this during a one- day facility visit and interaction with the staff of the Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) in Lugbe, Abuja,
.

The onus is on you to find out....and not to castigate the Minister for not operating within your limits

you see that's the problem we have in Nigeria, no accountability from leaders and the citizens don't make them accountable for monies spent, what is hard in giving full details on how the 2bn will be spent and the direct benefits on the citizens, na wa o, no wonder we have the type of leaders that are in power, because they will have people to always defend them when others demand accountability from them...
