The All Progressive Congress(APC) has announced that the party's national convention will hold February 2022. The announcement has however caused mixed reactions.

According to Daily Trust, the Director-General of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), Salihu Mohammed Lukman, resigned following a sharp division among the All Progressive Congress governors during their meeting in Abuja held on the 16th of January 2022. It was gathered that the DG was forced to resign due to his uncompromising stance on the national convention of the All Progressive Congress(APC) scheduled to hold next month.

What You Should Know About The All Progressive Congress (APC) National Convention?

During the National Convention, the Party members will elect the aspirant of their choice ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

The elected aspirant then becomes the party's candidate for the 2023 presidential election.
