No sir: meaning that I am NOT wrong

I asked the questions;

1. How much has your country spent on research on crude oil refining?
2. The fact that the kpofire people can do it crudely and inefficiently means that a big country like Nigeria can master the technology within a short time if only they are willing to do the research.
Do you disagree with this?
There is nothing to learn from people breaking oil pipelines to steal crude oil and cook in the bush other than strategies to end the criminal enterprise

It seems you have a comprehension problem.

Never would I justify breaking of oil pipes and stealing. What I have emphasised is that illegal refining of crude oil by uneducated rural people show that with a little foresight and thinking Nigeria can build her own refinery from the scratch.

And I asked:

Do you have an answer?

Nigeria can do it because we have bright and competent minds to harness both home and abroad, not because of some oil thieves running a criminal enterprise.

Why is it that our bright and competent minds home and abroad cannot solve such a simple problem like refining of crude oil?

That is the question he had been avoiding to answer simply because he know that it takes a GOVERNMENT to HARNESS the brains of the populace to solve a national problem such as this.

Unfortunately, the Government led by Buhari can never do wrong and they are always competent.

May God deliver us from bad governance!

Similar reasons why Nigerians are still groping in darkness despite the billions sunk into power. Listen, government's incompetence, inefficiency, corruption, maladministration and all of that should not be a guise to begin to look to criminality for solutions on local crude refining

Hmmm

What we don't understand is since these years that the NNPC have been moving the prices up,even during the PDP years,so now that Dangote is about to fully operational, why making the Public believed that the Prices of Petroleum is yet to be deregulated?
There is more to this fluke!
All those in the affairs of management of oil and Gas should just vacate their seats.
The fact is that the Institutions of oil( Production,Prices, Marketing, etc) and the fact that our refineries are not working in this country is too much a suffering for Common Man.
Shameful!

Meaning that the Government and its leadership has failed massively. The purpose of governance is to harness the human and economic potentials of a country for the general good of all. And when this is not achieved, the government should resign for better hands to take over.

Useless people who think governance is self enrichment at the expense of the nation.

No one should look at criminality as a solution to any national problem. As the Nigeria Army should not stop using rifles because bokoharam is using them.

Illegal refineries are done by the uneducated worst of Nigeria using the most archaic methods. Our daft leaders think that it is wiser to continue to import refined fuel rather than acquiring technologies with which to be self sufficient.

A wise leadership will pull together researchers with a clear mandate and funding to efficiently refine crude oil in industrial scale. It is NOT rocket science

The NEC is clearly against petrol subsidy removal and with Nigeria's poor.

We should try and remove other removables before attempting petrol subsidy.
