Dapo Apara, the erstwhile MD of Alpha Beta Consulting has decided to settle out of court with Bola Tinubu in the money laundering, fraud, tax evasion, and other corrupt practices by the company.

This is criminal in nature and not allegations that can be settled in civil court. And all the while EFCC and ICPC are just watching in the sidelines.

The settlement comes a week after the TNG group asked CBN to sanction Wema Banks over it's role in Alpha Beta money laundering scheme.

The formation of Alpha Beta and award of tax contract deserves urgent and serious investigation. Why was it formed? why was it given Tax "monitoring and reconciliation" duties? Did it take over duties of Lagos State Inland Revenue ? if so why? Was the formation legal? Who were the Owners of Alpha Beta when it was formed and at Present? Did any Public Officer abuse their position? Was there Corruption? Has Public funds been looted, mismanaged etc. etc. Lagosians and Nigerians deserve and demand answers. Warning: If we fail to tackle and kill corruption, corruption will kill Nigeria! It is already killing it slowly!!
