America is a country where people largely get recognised for their sheer talent and what they offer. If Nigeria had a merit-based system these guys wont be leaving in these numbers. Its not where Nigeria is that is the major problem, it is how it is that is the issue.

Are majority of Nigerians even ready to develop Nigeria, most Nigerians look out for themselves rather than the society at large, I don't blame them completely, the country itself doesn't provide an enabling environment for growth and development, so I see no reason why someone shouldn't leave this country if it'll help them grow faster.

I had a similar WAEC result, my least performance was in English too: B2. I think people largely ignore studying English, I don't know if I am alone but essay writing and phonetics were boring that year.
