To be honest, as things go along and as time passes, I am not so sure about the absolute necessity of the isolation thing (as opposed to simple social distancing measures). Anyhow, I am not competent to speak on the matter. The thing is, what happens if a team cant muster 11 players due to Covid. CAF says they will be walked over. Now lets just imagine an extreme scenario whereby a team walks over all its opponents from Round of 16 to the Final due to covid and wins the trophy thereby. Would that not be absurd. Even if its unlikely, rules should be made with all scenarios in mind.

I see where you're coming from. But then I believe the organizers are putting health over rule perfection. In the unlikely event that the scenario you painted becomes a reality, the likely contingency plan would be to cancel the tournament cause that would imply a good number of teams have been affected.

CAF has said before the tournament started that in such a case the match will be forfeited.
That is a walkover and 3 points in the group game and in the knockout stage.... the opponent qualifies for the next round.
That is why Covid protocols are CRITICAL in the camp.

Not the carelessness by which ordinary Nigerians go about their daily activities back home, moving around infected but asymptomatic and thinking the virus and pandemic is a scam.

if a team can't field 11 players for a match with possible substitute, they will forfeit the match for 3-0 and it will be a walkover for the opposing team.

In tomorrow's match, Tunisia will field players that are not positive, if that can't, then it will be a walkover for Nigeria.
