Rajevac famously took Ghana to the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Cup

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac is to be dismissed following the Black Stars' group stage elimination at Afcon in Cameroon

Ghana suffered a dismal tournament under the Serbian, taking only a single point from games against Morocco, Gabon and Comoros and finishing bottom of their group.

The 3-2 defeat to Comoros in a game they needed to win to qualify for the last 16 marked one of the lowest points in the national team's history.

[i]Rajevac was re-appointed for his second spell as Ghana boss in September 2021 and initially did well, successfully taking Ghana out of the second round of World Cup qualifying with a controversial win against South Africa.

However, following their Afcon performance, Rajevic will not continue.

It is now expected that he will be replaced with an interim coach as the Black Stars prepare for the final qualifying games for Qatar 2022.

The Black Stars will later today learn who their opponents will be following a draw in Cairo..

even if dey employ pep assisted by klopp, Nigeria would still beat Ghana both home n away in dt worldcup playoff simply bcox currently we av more talented n hungry players than them...
I saw all dier AFCON games, except d captain ayew n his brother, the rest were playing asif dey were doing AFCON a favor for playing in Cameroon, no hunger n less passion, na dt partey worst, i wasnt surprised seeing him playing for arsenal in less than a week..
na dier e mind dey all along...

Africa and sacking of coaches..I can bet my exes left boobs that our Coach may not be made a full coach if we loose.. He will return to being technical adviser..
We prefer to waste money on foreign coaches then later contribute money for the home coaches for surgery..
