Govt sold to Dangote at around 388 naira (official rate then) and not just Dangote but big businesses involved in manufacturing of goods we can manufacture within Nigeria, not import. Dangote also needed such lower exchange rate for his refinery which is a big project.

Dangote business is seemingly like a public parastatal own by an individual. It will never go bust unless the government goes bust completely; when the oil wells run dry or when oyinbos completely shun fossil fuel for electric..
