This is a serious matter 9yrs of fighting for a throne. Ok and they sythe new king is a real estate master why can't the gods choose a poor man from the slums as I seee in the Yoruba movies I normally learn there culture. Anyway I wish the new king long lives..may he not be assasinated as some hoodlums wil be angry ... Long live the monarch |

excuse me. Ikeja is an acronym for Ikorodu and Epe Joint Administration. Therefore where did this king come from? How can you have a traditional King of Ikeja when Ikeja does not exist traditionally? yes there existed areas before Ikeja wqas coined but surely if this is a traditional king then his title would be the king of the area. I can understand oba of Opebi, etc but not Oba of ikeja...it does not exist because Ikeja itself does not exist traditionally!!! 1 Like |

Brothers from hell. I can't believe blood brothers could not put their personal interest and ego aside and allow one of them to be crowned the king! Another family had to take over the throne after 9 years of vacancy just because the so called brothers were unwilling to agree among themselves. Something must be wrong somewhere with that family. |
