Following the abysmal performance of the Ghana Black Stars at the 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon, The Ghana Football Association fired Coach Milovan Rajevac.

Milovan Rajevac, according to ClassFMonline.com sources, has refused to acknowledge his $270,000 settlement in the contract he had with the country.

Rajevac’s dismissal comes a day after the Ministry of Youth and Sports instructed the GFA to “examine” the technical team of the Black Stars’ work and capacity.

Mustapha Ussif, the Minister of Youth and Sports, also instructed the FA to rebuild the Black Stars Management Committee in a statement issued.

He stated that the country has lost faith in the team and doubted the coach’s ability.

Part of the statement read: “The Ministry made it clear to the GFA that the people of Ghana have lost confidence in the capacity of the current technical team of the Black Stars to deliver success. The Ministry, therefore, asked the GFA to review the work and capacity of the Black Stars technical team led by the head coach Milovan Rajevac,”

He also directed the GFA to dissolve the Black Stars Management Committee.

thats almost 112 million naira n mayb he is rejecting It bcoz its too small compared to what he had in his contract just like mr rhor n nff saga..
this is d main advantage of having a local coach, none is guaranteed to succeed bt I dnt see any local coach demanding for more than such figure as compensation fee after becoming last in a group containing gabon n comoros..
we need to stop dis inferiority shii, because am yet to see any European or non African country coming for African coaches..
