Ebonyi Professionals in Abakaliki over the weekend called on Engr. Ben Okah, A technocrat and Consultant to join the 2023 Gubernatorial Race.


The group made the call under the platform of Ebonyi Professionals and Stakeholders Forum, According to them, The Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Engr. Dave Umahi has achieved unprecedented developmental success through his all encompassing Peoples oriented projects and Programs.


Hence, there is an urgent need for a technocrat to take over and consolidate on the Foundation laid by the present administration.


The group stated that despite other names like
Edward Nkwegu, Julius Ucha, Chike Onwe, Kenneth Ugbala, Ben Okah, Emmanuel Uguru, Cletus Ofoke, Francis Ogbonna Uguru, Onyekachi Nwebonyi, Humphrey Nwobashi, Professor Mike Awoke, Godwin Ogbaga among others who have been linked to the Governorship contest, Engr. Ben Okah stands shoulder tall above them all.


The group further called on the former Commissioner for public Utilities whose revolutionary giant strides has remain unrivalled to heed the call of well meaning Ebonyians and declare his interest for the Governorship Position in Ebonyi State.
