This is my own take on this issues. NATO is escalating this issue by send military hard to all its member state around Russia. Currently, Spain, Denmark, Netherland etc have sent military hardwares. France said they are ready to send troops, USA has put 8500 troops on alert, all these uptop invasion wey never happen. I think its the west that's provoking Russia. Uk has been send hardware to Ukraine as well. Even Germany that was reluctant at first is now treating Russia of disaster if an invasion happens. I think putin should just be careful cus these guys are just waiting for him to make a move so they can rush him from all angles. And how do u detect to a sovereign nation what association to join or not?

The troops that are been deployed to NATO members in eastern europe represents the commitment of the US & NATO to the security of those countries in the region. It is normal. This is done to avoid the spill over of the war into their territories. Russia did the same when the US was threatening to attack North Korea. Russia quickly deploy troops to it border with North Korea. They are not going to fight the Russians. If the aim is to fight the Russians, then they need more troops.

If war breaks out, the US & its allies military advisers in Ukraine will be pulled out immediately. Except the private military personnel (macenries).

No US or NATO leader will allow the situation to degenerate into a nuclear war. A lots has been done by the West for Ukraine. They have deployed varieties of weapons to Ukraine. They have also promise to impose sanctions on Russia. They can't do more than that. The war will be fought by Ukrainians alone.

Infact NATO's article 5, 'an attack on one member of NATO is an attack on all the members of NATO' is not realistic. Imagine, what happened last week. The Croatian president said, if there is a war between Russia and NATO. He will pull out his military from the alliances. So in reality article 5 make not work, because nuclear war will be a disaster for everyone.
