Imagine the message sent to the contacts of a friend by FastMoney just for not repaying 43k for December 2021 without even contacting him first.

How do they get the contacts of their debtors? Is this lawful?

When you abide by their rules, they wouldn't disturb you. It's better not to take loan from them to avoid embarrassment, tell your friend to pay them

Tell your friend NOT to pay them a kobo, by sending this illegal message they have received their money in full.
They have already done their worse, they can't do anything again after this illegal act.

Imagine what you are saying.. undecided
Why would you owe a debt and not want to pay?

Try to reason with the person you quoted!
Who likes being a debtor. This same thing is applicable in landlords and tenants.
Once the debt is paid, how would the embarrassment be cleared off? You can't get your money in full after damaging the image of the person.
I am not in support of refusing to pay loans but what I don't think is right is that the loan app companies should desist from tarnishing image of its patronizers on default. They should seek other means and maybe liaise with CBN on loan recovery via BVN.
