Sahara Reports It was previously reported that the administrator of gutter cleanliness and waste, Joe Igbokwe announced his interest in the governorship office of Lagos state. Yesterday, the chairman of Agbero in Lagos, MC Oluomo voiced his endorsement of the Joe Igbokwe Lagos governorship. In an interview, the chairman of NURTW disclosed that "Joe Igbokwe will do a very good governorship in Lagos, even better that all the old governors. I like the Igbo man well well, if to say Igbo man no dey for Lagos things go dry". It appears that the Joe Igbokwe governorship bid is gaining momentum from different quarters in the state. One trusted source has revealed on condition of anonymity that Asiwaju Tinubu himself secretly endorses a Joe Igbokwe governorship because of his presidential aspirations. It was revealed that Tinubu hopes that a Joe Igbokwe governorship will attract the Igbo vote to his presidential bid thereby increasing the likelihood of a Tinubu presidency. |
