No one is ceding the presidency to the North.
Election is a contest of ideas. That means anyone who wants to contest presidential election will submit their agenda----detailing what they will do if elected. Next, the voters will decide who they want from the list of participants. That is not ceding the presidency to the north.

So, vice president Atiku has every right to contest for PDP flag bearer. If he wins, he has won the contest. To me that is not ceding. It is having majority of what the voters want.

Macron is the worst president of France, his incompetency is nothing to none, you are not current, France economy under him has worsen. Same with the prime minister of Canada and UK, that one is even fighting the battle of his life for organising an indoor party during the lockdown while their economy is in shambles. These are countries that have almost infrastructures in place yet young leaders are finding it extremely difficult over there to sustain,manage and improve the foundation they met on ground, no wonder Trump and China mock them.
