You are partially right.
Why? Well, before the coming of the white man, wasn't the black man running his affairs with a high sense of responsibility and morality?
Before the coming of the white man Wasn't the black man running and maintaining his businesses(farms, sculpturing, cow rearing)?

Stop degrading your already degraded race. The white man did more harm to the black man(psychologically) than we can comprehend.

BuyAndSellStuff:
Is there any public office that isn't?

The black man cannot run and maintain a business due to his wayward and irresponsible lifestyle. Even the Dangotes and Adenugas have foreigners occupying their top posts to keep their finances in check or else they will go bankrupt.

A black man's income is for show-off and nothing else. Self-destructive race.

“We now have situations where we only operate twice in a whole week due to the sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Over time, we have lost our Mondays to this same order,” spokesperson for the company, Emeka Eze, said.

imagine even here in benin city that we have started experiencing poor electricity supply!

Basically it all boils down to one thing

DISCOS are not allowed to charge the money they should charge

Then people don't pay their bills as and at when due.

When your customers are not paying you the money you need, issues are going to arise.

The biggest problem of DISCO are the disconnection team.

In my area,we have ceased to pay DISCO the huge bill they bring as those guys in the disconnection team would collect at least #1500 from every house owing DISCO huge some of money and stay connected

This is not applicable to our area.

Just transfer the power from exclusive list to the con current list and all this electricity problem will be solved..... simple...but if its to loot money the federal government knows how to do that one perfectly

Shut down the damn plants for a year. Get back the licenses and let the DISCOs, GENCOs go away.

I don't know how electricity will be stable in this country. Everyone involved is crazy including consumers. Consumers buy transformers and poles at the same time steal electricity. Discos staff collect bribe and keep shut. Discos bring out crazy bills with threats of disconnection and reconnection fee.

Just shut down, remove every cable and transformer, every pole and let us all be in darkness for a full year.

Let us start afresh

GenCos are doing well, the problem is the DIScos

Why won't they wallow in debt when the officials are corrupt from the Directors to the guys who climb pole and enter transformer.

You will go to their office and they will tell you to open a new account which they will collect money for it without linking the account in any inventory and pocket the money.

No surprises here. The discos were sold to politicians.
One of the bad legacies of former President Goodluck Jonathan. They screwed up NEPA and then sold it to their crownies. People with zero experience of the power sector. The whole arrangement was already designed to fail before it started. And some people will still be clamouring for him to come back as President. I ask; "To do what". The problem we have now in Nigeria is that we had two colossal failures ruling us back to back in quick succession. GEJ was the first, Buhari was next....may God help us!
