What are the things super Eagles should avoid to qualify for world cup

See below;
1. Individual players should avoid putting efforts to show themselves singularly, just to impress
2. Avoid trying to be the one to score, rather pass the ball to anyone who is in the best position to score
3. Work as a Team, doesn't matter who scores
4. Avoid holding the ball for too long, ticky taka is bliss and leads to little team stress
5. Move to attack together and return to defend together, full backs should remain at the back to tackle counter attacks and atleast a striker should remain upfront with opponents defenders while team is containing attack in them - this will help maximise a counter attack for the Team and also protect the Team tackle counter attack against them
6. Select the best that can deliver the results and not necessarily the big names
7. Learn emotional intelligence and mental strength in case the team is loosing so they can remain resolute to upturn the misfortune
8. Study every opponent ahead of games, watch the videos of the opponents and learn where the threats of the opponents lie and plan to contain them (i heard the coach on TV saying they don't care about what the opponent, all they care about is get in the pitch and do their thing - this is a wrong reasoning)
9. Never under estimate an opponent. Never be over confident
10. Have plan A, B, and C for both attacking and defensive games

I will add more

1.Overconfidence: This has always been our bane right from time. Our players get carried away after encomium and accolades are been showered on them. This scenario played out against Tunisia. We underated them to our own downfall.

2. Lack of In depth tactics from the coaches and technical bench: Time and Time again , Our coaches are bereft of ideas when faced with a technical side. Ex coach Rohr was a culprit and even our own Eguavoen who was outfoxed by the Tunisians that crippled our wing play.

3. Selection must be based on Merit: Some players Coach Eguavoen fixtured at the on going Afcon had no business started games or even being in the Squad. I won't mention names to avoid squabbles.
Ongoing we need the services of our best legs
- Dennis Emmanuel
- Victor Moses
- Amoo
- Cyril Desserts
- Victor Osimhen
- Samuel Kalu etc

I believe the first leg will be in Accra in March,if we can axe a good result there, then we would qualify.

4. Grassroot development: Government need to encourage grassroom development in every facet of sports .
Money,Machineries, Men and Materials must be put in proper usage.

Since Vincent Enyeama and Carl Ikeme retired from the SE squad, Goal Keeper Trainer, Alloy Agu has failed woefully in his task.We all saw how our GKs keep repeating school boys errors.
Coach Adisa gave us Enyeama,Ejide,Aiyenugba and a host of others.
I believe there are very good GKs in the NPFL ,NUGA games etc.

If the game against Tunisia proceeded to penalty shootouts ,who do we call on?
Okoye?
Akpeyi?
Noble?
None of them is a reliable penalty shotstopper.
Besides who goes to a tournament without a reliable GK?

1. Don't play the offside trap if they are not good at it, to avoid one on one with the goalkeeper.

2. Learn to pass and stop doing unnecessary aerial duels.

3. One man is marking/tackling, instead of backing him up or opening to dangerous areas, they will be standing and watching.

4. Clearance... Clearance (behind) when necessary, not every time possession in your box till they intercept it.

5. Unnecessary direct free kick attempts, please stop.

6. Take shots, lots of shots (blocked, deflect for a corner), play it even though the opponents hands is on the way (he may feel suspicious for handball, and may slow him down a bit)

7. When opponent sends a long ball up field, stop running and looking backward tracking the ball and looking for aerial duels. The nearest man should aggressively chase that player the ball (in air) is travelling to, his eyes is on the ball and will stay in range to pick up the long ball (otherwise throw in for you, gain possession). Your aggressive movement will alter his concentration (making it look like you are trying to attack him), if he pushes you, that should be a foul.

8. Take power shot towards the middle (low and not high off target) if under pressure or in a rush or scrambled situation (loose ball, before it's cleared), if there is less precision the ball should be on target left or right . Anything may still happen.
