Biko our Nairaland ladies and gentlemen, how do I preserve ugu leaves, bitter leaf and okazi leaf or any leaf for that matter.

I'm talking about preserving without refrigeration. No fridge just some other form of preservation.

I have thought of drying the leave. But I wonder how that would hold up as they will easily disintegrate into powder-ish form.

Una get any ideas?? Share please

For short time preservation insert it's stem in water and keep close to sunlight, for long term preservation, dry in hot sun for 2 hours and store in a dry cool place

Are you sure? I'm keen on a long-term preservation. But is 2 hours enough? What if they are tied in a nylon after drying with no moist/liquid
