They are in the process of doing that,the AKK gas pipeline is to lift gas for free to kano and Kaduna for their private industries.An Igbo man owns the company managing this process.while shell is building gas distribution that will be paid for heavily by the easterners

Had Oil and gas been in the North, they would have declared Arewa Republic long before Ojukwu declared Biafra

The only place that gas can go is bonny and it's not even going their there is no link between that gas station and the Akk
