Peter obi if he said that just lost a supporter ...no to socialist again in Nigeria

Every one should pay tax ...even if it's #100..even if it's #5 let them pay ....#5 times 200 million is 1 billion

If I am president first things first is open a free portal ...every business must be registered and owners data taken ...from grandnut seller to hawker to dangote ...every single business must be registered for free

If u do business without registration u would be charged to work on government farm for 6 months or pay a fine of 10 million

Every business must be taxed ...hotels , eateries , restaurants will taxed a sales tax of 20% ... clubs a sales tax of 35% ( state it was generated keeps 60% gives federal 40% ,)

Every primary and secondary school with school fees over 50k a term would be taxed 20% education tax , above 150k they would be taxed 40%
Universities with school fees above 500k would be taxed 20% ...above 2 million 30%
Those who schooled abroad would be required to pay a tax of $10,000 dollars before NYSC

Every keke owner would pay 50k road tax , Salon cars 150k road tax , commercial buses and vans 150k road tax, trucks 250k road tax and trailers 400k road tax ( state of registration keeps 60%,)

Imported clothes 30% tax

For every expatriate u employ ...u would pay 100% of his take home pay as tax

Etc

There is no how u can't generate $50 billion a year if u tax effectively

Nope ...but government can set up thousand of hectares of farm clusters with processing facilities and farming machineries where people can lease the farms

There is nothing wrong with setting up something similar to nnpc but for farms ...

Nigeria prisons should also have farms to produce food for prisoners

Sir, you have missed Peter Obi's line of thought.

What he meant by 'furst investing on the poor' may simply implies providing a conducive environment such as power, access roads, etc for their businesses to thrive. By so doing the tax base(taxable income) of the business has increased.

Take for example, the telcos, if you see the amount of money spent on power, you will understand why they are paying meagerly to government.

So what would you do with the money generated and how would you create wealth to alleviate poverty and unemployment?

I'm a capitalist 100% ... everyone should pay tax ...the only people that should be excluded from tax is people who make zero income

If u make 5000 a month ... would it kill u to pay #500 as tax ? ...what can 5000 do for u that 4500 can't do

U need to build that culture of no one escaping tax

When u generate 50 billion dollars a year now u can fix power ,road , now u can provide soft loans

But everyone must contribute

With 50 billion dollars estimate revenue per year even an idiot would be impactful

But if allowed ...roads would be the first projects ..over $10 billion a year on roads
Being an engineer first thing is to call a council of engineers establish estimates for roads per region ...high way cost per kilometre with practical demonstrations ..street cost per km ...intra city roads per km ...so we all know cost to fix each roads ...

Then build vocational training centres across each local government where people would learn skills ...modern skills ..like ICT , Welding , furniture making , fashion and also build practice workshops where they can come and do work for a minimal fees if they get a job ...their you would have all the machines and equipment needed for each skill

Then set up agro clusters for each senotorial zone ...can be poultry , pork , cow , goat ,cassava , fish, corn , soya , anything or mix depending on what's available

This clusters would have farms with houses easily rented to individuals for a small fee to sustain the place ...say u have a 200 000 first farm cluster in Ogun ..divided in to 5000 farms each ...a fish feed producers would be stationed there ...a fingerlings producers would be stationed too ...a fish processing plant for drying packaging would be stationed there ...I want to do fish farming I rent a slot or two ... nothing stops me ..fish feed easy to get ...it's easy to get knowledge from people around

Same thing can be done for pigs , cassava and the rest

Education is straight forward ..1 university per zone turn invest 20 billion naira into it pet year till we fix all

Federal government collage in every local government...school of the gifted one in every senotorial zone ..for exceptionally intelligent students ...school starts from ss1

Bros it's easier to do once revenue is in your hands

We don't want someone who will invest Nigeria's money in private account n it won't yield result

We don't want someone a religious extremist who is to unreasonable to sort out issues between Catholic n anglicans, how will he govern Nigeria

We don't want a repeat of akwuzu so let him just chill.

Why are my even wasting time here, let him win pdp ticket first where we have wike, atiku, tambuwa n even akwa ibom governor self dey show face.

Is this why he looted over $500M of Anambra state fund into his 13 year old daughter Pandora account in a foreign country

Or

Is it why he was caught with over N250M cash in Lagos while he was a governor in Anambra ?
