Ohanaeze Ndigbo has cautioned those it describes as desperate politicians from the North against their moves to retain power beyond 2023, saying such plans will sink the country.

The group said those working against the gentleman pact of the rotational presidency between the North and South in 2023, should be aware of the fact that changing the narratives with falsehood and fallacies temporarily for inordinate ambition will have disastrous consequences if they achieve their plans by 2023.

The Igbo socio-cultural organization warned that the North must consider the security implications of retaining power beyond 2023 and without any options, voluntarily concede power to the south for the interest of peace and stability, “except if they have decided to set the nation ablaze and sink it.”

In a statement signed by Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, its Secretary-General, Ohanaeze said Igbos have been pushed out of Nigeria based on the fact that owners of Nigeria craftily designed policies and procedures to enslave the people of the southeast politically and economically, adding that “only 2023 Igbo Presidency will assuage the perceptions that Igbo are still part of Nigeria.”

“Atiku shouldn’t have sent his foot-soldiers to come up with tales by moonlight, as it is arrogant, absurd and disrespectful to come to the southeast and look at us in our faces and vomit fallacies that north’s tenure has not expired.

“We wish to categorically state that it is Igbo’s turn to succeed President Buhari in 2023 and Atiku should reciprocate the support Igbos gave him in 2019 and support one of his most trusted Igbo allies for 2023.

“Endeavors to bring another Northerner as President in 2023 will be a disaster and it will sink Nigeria, many Southern ethnic groups will join Igbo to walk away from Nigeria as ethnic domineering and intimidation will end up the union.

“Atiku had refused to learn from history, as he’s the best President Nigeria will never have, as age and competence is the new watchword and order, to determine who will be President in 2023, and now age is not on the side of Atiku, he should end the ill-fated journey to Aso Rock and support Ndigbo”, the statement said.

They are just contradicting themselves. Meanwhile some of them said they will rather vote north than a Yoruba man.

Another one created a topic calling for abolishing of rotating president. He said north can contest.

Going by this postulations below, one honestly thinks Obasanjo was truly as statesman that was all about unity, he saw the marginalization of the SS and acted proactively to mend it. While the unity of Nigeria took a terrible turn in 2011 when the Tinubu APC rejected the Speakership position on behalf of the SW just to sell the marginalized propaganda while going ahead to deepen the disunity with clinching two key positions that could have united the country. Between 2011 and 2015 the NE was marginalized and felt abandoned by the GEJ government which bolstered the Bokoharam agenda while the SW saw it as an advantage to align motives championing insecurity to oust GEJ thereby foisting Buhari being a leader of the agenda.

I reckon this is same guy as Odin, Asgard, or whatever. Does anyone observes how incoherent he writes and how disjointed his thought process are.
I barely understand whatever he scribbles albeit unintelligibly. At least he needs to pick up from Elementary Education to enable him communicate a bit better on public fora.
