What Is The Finger Of God?

Exodus 8:19 (KJV)

Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

That was the fist time that "the finger of God" was mentioned in the Bible, and it wasn't even those who walked with God that said it, but those of the devil, the magicians of Pharaoh.

But what would have made them acknowledge the finger of God, when they were servants of the devil and not God?

It was because after succeeding to replicate everything that Moses had done with the rod of God prior to that with their own satanic powers, they also tried to repeat same feat with that of turning the dust of the Earth to lice. But they failed to do so, hence they had to confess to Pharoah, that this was the Finger of God!

Exodus 8:16-18 (KJV)

And the LORD said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast.

The "Finger of God" was also mentioned in similar vein in the Gospels, but this time it was Jesus who spoke concerning it.

Luke 11:20-22 (KJV)

But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

So it was the same "Finger of God", that Moses used to do the mighty works in the land of Egypt that exceeded that which the servants of the devil (Pharaoh's magicians) could possibly muster, that they had to acknowledge its superiority, that Jesus used to do the mighty works He did while He was on Earth, including casting out devils.

It was the "Finger of God" that made Jesus to be stronger than the strong man called Satan, and hence enabled Him to overcome him and destroy his works to the extent He did, that Satan was completely powerless and not able to prevail anything.

So what is this "Finger of God"?

The "Finger of God" is the Holy Spirit!

But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

Speaking of the Holy Spirit in the sense of the Finger of God, it's important to clarify though, this was not a measure of the Holy Spirit but the full measure, because the Finger of God is not a measure of the Spirit of God but that without measure which came upon Jesus.

John 3:34 (KJV)

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

So this is not what many call the spirit of the prophet which they say "is subject to the prophet."

The Spirit of God is not the spirit of the prophet which is subject to the prophet, because the Spirit of God belongs to God, so It is subject to God alone, never any man nor prophet.

Moreover, since it's the Spirit of God, it should be much greater and powerful than any spirit of any prophet. This was clearly illustrated on this occasion with Moses who was one of the most powerful prophets of God that ever lived.

Exodus 17:9-11 (KJV)

And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.
So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.

So it could be clearly observed the difference between the spirit of the prophet and that of God in full measure, as Moses represented the spirit of the prophet while the Rod of God, represented the Finger of God which was the full measure of God's Spirit. But despite Moses being up standing, the spirit of the prophet was not good enough to prevent the enemy from prevailing over the nation of Israel, whom God called His own people. They needed the Spirit of God which was upon the Rod of God to be lifted up to be able to overcome their enemies.

That's why, God didn't just send Moses with the spirit of the prophet to Egypt. It was because the kinds of mighty works He needed Moses to do in the land of Egypt, to prove His superiority to all other gods, was much more than whatever the spirit of the prophet could muster. Hence He ensured that Moses had much more than the spirit of the prophet in the form of a Rod.

Exodus 4:17 (KJV)

And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.

So Moses needed the Rod of God, to be able to do signs in the land of Egypt that exceeded those which could be done by the agents of the devil there, but Jesus didn't need any such Rod to be able do similar works, because He was the Rod of God in human form, hence the Spirit of God in full measure, which is the Finger of God could rest upon His Own flesh.

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

But Jesus wasn't alone when He departed the Earth, because He had multiplied Himself upon the Earth via His death:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

So Jesus had multiplied Himself, the Rod of God, upon the Earth so that the Finger of God, which is the Spirit of God in full measure, could also come directly upon their flesh. Hence it was said:

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

So after the full measure that was upon Jesus had also come upon their them, it was the same Finger of God which they, His disciples, used to do similar mighty works upon the Earth that the gates of hell couldn't provide any answer to.

Now you must have heard about how many false prophets and christs would arise in these last days, and be able to do many mighty works.

It's going to be something similar to what happened in the land of Egypt, where the agents of the devil were also able to do mighty works themselves. But just as it happened in the land of Egypt, it's also the Finger of God that God would use to distinguish the difference between the works done by the agents of the devil, and those of his in these last days to prove His superiority over all other gods, that He's the Lord of all the Earth, and there's none like unto Him and no one beside Him.

Therefore it's gonna take more than what the spirit of the prophets could muster, which is what we have in most churches today.

But God has prepared His own just as He did with the disciples of Christ, to enable Him endue with the Finger of God.

And it shall surely come to pass.

It seems you lack comprehension. I said He didn't live by the sword as your prophet, so you just wasted your time because I wasn't speaking of the old covenant but His life as man on Earth.

The story of Job in the Bible is very simple. In my experience only fools don't understand it.

Job is a morally upright, righteous and God fearing man. He also happens to be incredibly wealthy, indeed far wealthier than any other human being in the world at the time.

God is delighted with Job's faithfulness, but Satan believes that Job is only faithful to God because of the material blessings he has received from God.

Throughout his ordeal, Job proves God is right about humans he remains faithful and thankful to God even though he loses everything- his wealth, his family even his health.

The simple but powerful story of Job is that we Christians are called upon to give thanks and be humble and prayerful, no matter what we are going through.

God has always protected His people/saints and He has always avenged any iniquity done to them.

While the Israelites were tired and weary still at Rephidim, recuperating from their escape from Egypt, the nation of Amalek launched a vicious surprise attack on them, killing the most vulnerable Israelites, meaning the old and the infants. They did this even though the Israelites had no plans to take over over Amalekite territory and were not even passing through Amalek land.

Deuteronomy 25:18

Secondly in Numbers 21:1 to 3 , after the death of Aaron the High Priest and brother of Moses, the Amalekites under their king Arad launched a savage attack against the Israelites while they were still mourning the death of Aaron.

Arad and his army were actually disguised themselves as Canaanites before entering attacking the Israelites in order to confuse the Israelites about their attackers’ identity.

The plan backfired. Israel was victorious, and went on to enter the Promised Land without any further disturbance by the Amalekites.

The Amalekites represent pure evil, in the same way that Islam and Muhammad do today.

Deuteronomy 22:28-29 bears a lot of similarity to Exodus 22:16-17 “If a man seduces a virgin who is not betrothed and lies with her, he shall give the bride price for her and make her his wife. If her father utterly refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money equal to the bride price for virgins."

Together, these passages clearly state that if a man has sex with a virgin who is not betrothed (regardless of whether or not it was rape or consensual) he is obliged to marry her. He should have sought her father’s permission first, negotiated a bride-price, and taken her as his wife. Because he did not, he is punished for this—he now must pay up (he can’t opt out any more) and marry her (which could be a major punishment in itself if this was a foolish, spur-of-the-moment act and she really wasn’t the right woman for him!).
