Rasheedat Ajibade scored a brace yesterday to help Atletico Madrid to secure a 3-2 victory over Rita Chikwelu's Madrid CFF at the Wanda Alcalá de Henares Sports Centre in Madrid.

Ajibade, who has now scored 6 goals in 4 games for Atletico, opened the scoring in the 8th minute. Brazilian hotshot, Geyse Ferreira, equalised for Madrid in the 22nd minute, but Ajibade restored Atletico's lead in the 40th minute.

Amanda Sampredo extended the lead via a 56th minute penalty, but Gabriela reduced the deficit in the 79th minute.

Rita Chikwelu started the game and was substituted in the 65th minute.

Meanwhile, at the Buñol Sports City in Valencia, Asisat Oshoala scored to help Barcelona to a 1-4 victory over Levante.

The match began on a difficult note for Barcelona as the home side piled on the pressure. Barcelona won a penalty against the run of play, but Jenni Hermoso's shot was blocked by the goalkeeper in the 17th minute.

However, Asisat Oshoala's usual style of exerting maximum pressure on goalkeepers and defenders paid off when she forced the Levante goalkeeper to commit a terrible error.

The Levante goalkeeper came to get a long ball out of the Barcelona defence, but Asisat Oshoala also chased after the ball. The keeper tried to lob the ball over Oshoala, but the tall Nigerian striker blocked it. The ball bounced beyond the goalkeeper and toward the Levante goal. Oshoala went after it, slowed to a walk and calmly and casually slotted the ball into the goal.

Patricia Guijarro extended Barca's lead in the 33rd minute and Jenni Hermoso made it 0-3 just before half time.

Caroline Graham Hansen completed Barca's scoring in the 46th minute and Pinto scored a consolation goal for Levante in the 86th minute.

Oshoala is now the joint highest goal scorer in the league (joint with Lieke Martens), despite being out of action for 2 months due to injury and this goal was her 4th in 2 games.

Even in Europe, there are some countries Big players wont consider. Austria, Belgium, Ukraine, Croatia, Finland, Russia, Bosnia, Latvia , Serbia etc.
Its not about corruption. Can the football market sell in Nigeria or Africa at large ? Moreover, that is the least of our problems right now.
As upgraded and well broadcasted as South Africa league is, Messi and Ronaldo will never come there to play.
