Get sense, he is a lawmaker he can advocate for what he wants. It’s people like u that’s the reason y Nigeria ended up like this, u encourage lawlessness.

If they can do that to a senator are u saying as youths engaged in endsars it’s right for police to not pick up their call if they have criminal complaint?
You are 100% right. I also believe the letter was an after thought due to the dust the withdrawal has raised.

I should have known that the Bill to scrap NSCDC had ulterior motives. Gross and shameless misuse of legislative privilege and a big reason why his constituency should deny him a further term at the next polls.

If i'm to agree with Peller that the NSCDC should be scrapped based on duplicity of functions with the police, then I must by the same logic agree that the FG will save more money if it scraps the House of Reps too. Every single thing they are doing can be done by the Senate. And the FG should scrap the Senate too, because every single thing they are doing can be done by the State governments. So we don't really need the Senate and House of Reps. Nigeria will save trillions of Naira annually if we scrapped these 2 institutions.

You have to retain one of the two.

The governor representation is restricted to their states.
The Legislature represent us at the FG

His security personnel needs to be recalled since he finds no use for the particular security outfit protecting him. What nonsense
We don't need multiple security agencies doing similar functions. Npf should be strengthened , restructured and properly funded.

Most people in Nigeria read but Don't comprehend and understand. Shina asked nscdc to be scrapped and it personnel and assets be absorbed into the police. Basically no one is losing is losing their job. If you liken it to the national assembly being merged too, fine. People are making it sound like he asked the nscdc to be scrapped and the personnel sent away. To even think of it that most nscdc officers covet the police officers and wish to be like them. Abeg make everybody rest

The joke is on. He moved the motion and that was why his security aides were removed. It is not the other way round as you are making it.

Why is other members security personnel not withdraw for national security. What a politics of bitterness because he move a motion against them at the floor of the assembly. Shame

It should be expected. You can't be a beneficiary of what you condemned.

As for duplicating assignment, it goes beyond NSCDC only. There are about 18 gun carrying security agencies in Nigeria today. So much confused that about 5-8 of them are doing same thing same place.
